artist statement & biography

STATEMENT

My paintings are a visual exploration of my personal feelings, represented through my environment and experiences.

Although nature is often my subject, I do not seek to replicate it, rather to create an altered representation of the world as seen through my minds eye. A place where color, texture, nature and form combine to elicit feelings of calm, unrest, joy, love, contemplation. Emotions we experience when affected by external sources
