artist's biography
Joyce Gehl is a mixed-media artist, combining digital imagery, paint and resin to create paintings of her experiences of, and reverence for, the natural world. Her art has been featured in exhibitions in Seattle, Atlanta, Santa Fe and Scottsdale. She is included in corporate and private collections throughout the United States and South America. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Art Center College of Design. Joyce works in her Orcas Island studio in the San Juan Islands.
