softly falling

As the wind blows, a leaf clings to her branch, resisting the fall. Eventually she releases her grip, and floats lightly to earth.

Like the leaf, we often cling to the things that make us feel safe. But no matter how tight we hold on, eventually we fall.

Nature shows us how to turn our dive into a graceful dance. The wind dislodges, but it also carries.
